I qualified as a dental nurse in 1987 and have worked in primary NHS dental services since that time. I enjoy being part of a caring team at Ilfracombe Dental practice. In my spare time, I enjoy helping on a farm and working outdoors. Spending time with my family is also important to me.
BEHIND THE SMILE
We asked Sarah some questions to find out more about the woman behind the smile. Away from her professional life, what are the things she holds dear?
If you were able to invite three people (fictional or non fictional), (present or past) to your dinner table who would they be and why?
Aleister Crowley would be a great entertainer at the table. I find his poetry and writing fascinating, especially his interests in ancient Egypt and the occult.
Boudica (Queen of the Celtic Iceni) – in my opinion, the original girl power!
Slash, An amazing guitarist and perfect for after-dinner entertainment.
If you weren’t a dentist, what would you want to do as a career?
I would love to be a zoo keeper.
If you were to share one piece of dental advice, what would it be?
Brush your teeth twice a day with a toothpaste you like the taste of.
What is your favourite charity?
