Amber Greaves
Dental Therapist (GDC no 274835)
I began my dental career in 2018 after qualifying as a dental nurse, and my passion for helping and educating others inspired me to take the next step by studying Dental Therapy at Newcastle University.
Since graduating, I’ve been dedicated to helping patients feel confident and cared for in the dental chair. As a Dental Therapist, I’m passionate about supporting patients in achieving and maintaining excellent oral health, with a particular focus on preventive care and oral hygiene education.
I take pride in creating a calm, friendly, and welcoming environment, with the aim of making every visit as comfortable and positive as possible.
Outside of dentistry, I love to travel and experience new cultures.
BEHIND THE SMILE
We asked Amber some questions to find out more about the woman behind the smile. Away from her professional life, what are the things she holds dear?
If you were able to invite three people (fictional or non fictional), (present or past) to your dinner table who would they be and why?
David Attenborough – I find David Attenborough so entertaining and intriguing
Al Pacino – Al Pacino is my favourite actor
Amy Winehouse – As she has some of the best jazz vocals!
If you weren’t a dentist, what would you want to do as a career?
I would love to work in a waterpark abroad.
If you were to share one piece of dental advice, what would it be?
Don’t forget to clean between your teeth daily with floss or tepe brushes!
What is your favourite charity?
